4/6/21 - This is a nice example of the rarest of all of the army Mauser HSC's. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced. This one has an old re-blued finish. As a result, the slide legend is weak from buffing. It has retained about 96% of this finish. Minor wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. There is discoloration and minor pitting along the top of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Very nice bore with strong rifling.
