11/2/18 - This is a fantastic and desirable example of an all original, correct and matching Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig with matching numbered stock. This gun is particularly desirable as the right side receiver and the stock share the same Austro-Hungarian acceptance marking, "W-n 16". The original bluing of the pistol rates at 95-96% with basic high edge wear but most of the finish loss found under the barrel from rubbing inside the stock. The grips are numbered to the gun and in excellent condition. Some small parts still show brilliant fire blue. The stock is imperial proofed and in great condition, with no cracks or chips. Pistol bore is very shiny with strong rifling, with little sign of extended use.
