8/6/19 - This is a rare and complete collection of the scarce Police CZ model 27 pistols. It took the previous owner over a decade to compile this grouping of pistols, and that is why we are (first) selling them as a set. This set includes the Police issued CZ 27 from each dated year (1941-43), then one each of the no date examples, with the last featuring the FNH slide logo. The last two are especially rare, with only about 500 produced with no date and military bluing, and about 1,000 produced of the FNH variation. Even the high-polish variation saw only ~5,500 produced, so this is a very rarely seen complete set. And for the cherry on top, three of the pistols even have the matching numbered Police arsenal magazine. Now to provide finish ratings, in order of earliest to latest. The 1941 rates at 96-97% with minor thinning of the front strap. The 1942 rates at 92-94% with most wear found on either side of the slide, especially at the edges. The 1943 rates at about 96% with a spot of wear on the left side slide and front strap/trigger guard. And lastly, the final two examples both rate at 99+% and are likely among the finest known examples of these especially rare variants. All five pistols have terrific bores. Very nice grips on all five, though most of them do have the famous chips in the lower front corners. NOTE: Once these have been listed for a month, then we will consider selling them individually.
