3/25/21 - This is an excellent example of a the rarest of all of the Mauser HSC variations. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one is all matching and comes with a nice 1940-dated holster and tow period-correct magazines. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. One area of wear on the underside of the trigger guard. There are a few handling marks on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent wood grips. The bore is mint.
