11/6/20 - This is an excellent example of a hard to find 1941 Colt 1911A1 with original blued finish and matching numbered slide. There were only a few thousand 1911A1s that were blued in 1941 before the switch to parkerized finish. The finish rates at 93-95% with a gorgeous profile but some thinning of the straps. All correct and original parts, including G proofed Colt barrel. Bore is shiny with only minor signs of use. Correct RS inspector mark on frame.
