6/26/20 - This is an excellent example of a rare Mauser Luger from 1940 that was made for the commercial market but later diverted to the military. Eagle/N proofs on left side of receiver denote it was initially a commercial gun but two military acceptance proofs were later added to the right side. It's all matching with about 97% of the original blue. There's high edge wear on muzzle, sideplate, stock lug and right side rail. The grips are in minty condition and numbered to the gun. Magazine is period original but mismatched. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but there is a bit of freckling.
