5/19/17 - This gun came from Warren Buxton's personal collection according to James Julia auction, who sold a large number of his guns in April of this year. It's been a while since we've had an AC40. They were always hard to come by but lately they seem to have really "dried up". There were only about 12,000 of these ac 40's manufactured, making these more rare than the early zero series Walthers or first-year production Mauser byf 42's. The original finish is about 90%, with all matching parts including the grips! The magazine is numbered and close to matching - but off by less than 100 numbers. The small parts are all correctly waffen 359 proofed. The gun is of course correct in every way. De-cocker is functioning properly. Mirror bore.
