12/8/17 - This is a desirable RS marked 1941 Colt 1911A1. It has the early WW2 brush blue finish, before it switched to parkerizing. The gun is all original and correct with matching numbered slide, RS proof on frame (external and internal), Colt barrel with early G proof, and P proofs on frame and slide. Comes with hollowed back grips, which were unique for the 1941/42 Colts. Original finish rates about 92% with general thinning throughout. Bore shows minor use but is still shiny with strong rifling. S marked magazine.
