12/10/18 - This is one of the approximately 5,000 Model 1906 DWM Lugers made for the Royal Portuguese Army. The Royal Portuguese Crest of Manuel II is present on top of the chamber, with the DWM scroll marking on the toggle. A triangle in a circle is marked on the rear of frame and barrel underside, as well as on the mag bottom. All parts are matching with the serial number on the frame and barrel, takedown latch and side plate. Grips are proper and unnumbered. This contract was for 5,000 Lugers in 30 caliber, and without the lug stock. The original finish is about 90%, with little actual finish loss but a fair amount of patina to the straps. There are also a few areas of surface freckling. Bore is shiny with strong rifling.
