8/4/20 - This is a scarce Mauser Luger that was made in 1941 with '42' code on toggle. There were only ~7,000 of these produced, one of the rarest military production totals for a Mauser Luger. This one has all matching small parts with scarce blank bottom 'fxo' magazine. The finish was restored at some point on this pistol but the bluing is intact. Grips are mismatched replacements. Bore has good rifling but some frost and freckling throughout.
