9/8/20 - This is a rare 1914 Variation Navy DWM Luger, made in 1916, in all matching and original condition, including the original magazine. There were only about 7,900 of this variation produced in 1916, and many are messed with or in worn condition. This one has 95-96% of the original blue with high edge wear on the sideplate and muzzle, an area of finish loss on the bottom of the front strap, and a small area of pitting on the right side of the frame. The grips are numbered and matching to the pistol. They're also in great shape and without notable defect. Bore is clean with strong rifling. There is a Germany export mark under the barrel, so this one likely did get sent out for commercial sale after the war.
