7/30/20 - This is a Saginaw Gear produced M1 Carbine for the US military that was made in 1944. Only about 8.5% of total carbine production was done by Saginaw. A full parts guide is included in the photos for this listing but this one is largely correct with Saginaw parts, but the bayonet lug and adjustable sight were likely added later and the stock is unmarked. The finish is excellent with very little wear. Bore is minty too. Terrific condition on the stock. Smooth mechanics.
