7/10/19 - This is a rare and desirable Walther PP that was issued to SA Gruppe Westfalen, one of the hardest to find Gruppe designations, with only one(!) reported at time of publishing Axis Pistols. There were only ~6,000 total SA PP’s, and Westfalen comprises only a tiny fraction of that number. The pistol is all original and correct with about 95% high-polish blue remaining. Beautiful profile view, but most of the finish loss is on the straps, especially the rear strap. There is also some pinpricking on the left side of the slide. Serial dates the pistol to about 1938-39. Terrific bore. Excellent finger extension magazine. Nice, weighted grips with only a thin crack on the left panel.
