10/11/18 - This is a Rock Island Arsenal manufactured M1903-A3 from the tail end of the Great War. This is an interesting piece as the receiver was made in 1918, but the barrel is Springfield Armory made and dated to January of 1929, and the stock has a Rock Island cartouche. Records show this rifle went to the 10th cavalry during WWI and was later re-worked. The rifle also includes CMP paperwork from a previous owner. Rifle is in excellent condition with a mint bore.
