9/22/20 - This is a Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 with serial that dates the gun to 1918. The rifle is a USMC rebuild, with USMC marking on barrel and a date of July, 1941 on it. It has the hatcher hole and stippled buttplate. The parkerized finish is in good shape but there's some finish loss near the muzzle and trigger group. Stock is unmarked and in very good condition with no major defects. Terrific bore. Smooth mechanics.
