SOLD - Remington 03-A3 - 1943

6/26/18 - This is a 1943 WWII US Remington 1903A3 Springfield Rifle in 30-06 caliber. Original, excellent condition with correct "R" markings and no rebuild or import marks. All parts are correct Remington "R" marked parts. The bluing and parkerizing are strong and the stock is the correct Remington WWII stock with just a few small dings. The barrel has two groove rifling sharp and very shiny. Barrel end marked RA over 12-43 (December of 1943). Stock is RA FJA and ordnance proof marked along left side and circle P marked at bottom. Tiny stock inspector proof stamps ahead of the magazine triggerguard are sharp and clean. Original WWII era leather 03A3 rifle sling. This DCM (before CMP) rifle will make someone a great collectible or a fantastic shooter if you choose.
