10/26/21 - This is an original military-issued Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1944. The original finish rates at about 50-60% with visible thinning in most areas, and especially pronounced on the front strap. Correct HS barrel with good rifling but a little freckling in the grooves. Excellent grips, just minor handling wear. Risdon magazine.
