11/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a rare Zero Series Spreewerk manufactured at the very end of the war in 1945. These Zero Series guns have a "0" prefix in their serial numbers and were some of the last P.38's made at the end of WW2. The gun is all matching and has the proper Eagle test proof and "U" proof on the right side of the slide. The finish is fairly dark, so believe this gun has been "Russian dipped". It has retained about 99% of its finish with a series of tiny marks and scratches on the right side of the slide. Tiny pin-pricking on the front strap. Comes with a nice pair of grips that have been Russian cut. Also comes with a rare late-war "U" marked magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional. The slide doesn't lock back on it's own with this magazine.
