8/16/18 - This is a very rare and completely original Tokarev SVT-40 that was captured and issued to the German Army. The SVT-40 was intended to be the Red Army's new service model but production was interrupted by the German invasion in 1941. Made in 1940 at the Izhevsk factory, this rifle is all matching and correct with waffenamt (Eagle over SU 27) visible on the stock. The receiver, stock and trigger assembly are all matching and the rifle has a correct magazine and original cleaning rod. The stock is in excellent condition with no major cracks or chips, and various proofs visible throughout. The metal parts retain 80+% original blue with standard thinning due to age and use. The bore has minor frost but excellent rifling.
