10/1/19 - This is a very rare Sauer model 1926 export - only of only a few we've ever encountered! There were only 3,000-4,000 of this variation produced, and not a lot is known about them. This one has the telltale characteristics that separate it from the 1919 model and the 1929/30. The serrations on the cocking knob continue to the slide, and the trigger guard is the (correct) later oval shape. This one is all original and correct with about 92-93% high-polish blue remaining. There is some minor high edge wear on the slide, as well as a couple small areas of pinpricking, but the majority of the finish loss is on the front strap. Excellent grips and proper magazine. Minty bore.
