12/3/20 - This is an excellent example of a rare Rockola M1 Carbine issued to the US Military in late 1943/early 1944. Rockola is one of the rarest makers of the M1 Carbine. The only manufacturer who made less was Irwin Pederson. Most of the parts are correct for an original Rockola. However, the magazine catch is marked "EI" which we understand to be incorrect for this gun. The metal parts have spotty wear and areas of oxidation throughout. It has an excellent original Rockola stock but it has various letter markings that appear to be from an arsenal. The gun comes with an original sling, oiler, 1943-dated magazine pouch, and two period correct magazines. The bore is minty - shiny with strong rifling, 9.5/10.
