1/18/18 - This is a very rare gun as it is a G Date (1935) Luger that was issued to the German Police during the Nazi era. Only 600 were issued. While it has the Eagle 63 military proofs, the sear safety over the sideplate indicates that it was diverted to the police. The style of the magazine numbering also indicates police issue. These magazines were numbered in the police arsenal which is why it has the #2 over the serial and the police proof under it. The finish is original and rates about 90%. The straw color on the small parts is almost completely discolored. The bore is a bit frosted but still pretty strong. I would rate it about a 6 out of 10. All parts are matching including the hold open and firing pin. The grips are not numbered but seem original to the gun due to the fit and wear pattern. The gun functions well.
