4/4/17 - This is an svw 45 marked Mauser P.38 from the end of WWII. There were only 15,000 SVW 45's produced, and over 346,000 total Mauser P.38's produced during the war (Jan Still, Axis Pistols). These SVW's are rare and Legacy does not get them often. This gun has a dual-tone finish, with a phosphate slide and frame, but blued barrel. The frame is borderline mint, and the slide doesn't show much finish loss, though the phosphated finish from the end of the war is a bit crude. There is just your common high edge wear to mention. Excellent black grips, and an E/359 marked mag. Bore is slightly frosted but has strong rifling. NOTE: Just noticed that the front sight is chipped. This part can be replaced somewhat easily by a gunsmith, but I am lowering the price based on this realization.
