7/15/19 - This is a very nice example of a hard-to-find French MAB Model D that was manufactured for the German Army following their occupation of France in 1940. It has proper WaA251 proofs on the frame and Nazi eagle on the barrel. It also comes with correct grips and magazine. The bluing rates at about 94-96% with only minor holster wear. There are some spots of corrosion on the slide, most notably on the left front of slide. Original grips show about the same amount of wear as the gun. Bore shows minor frost but mostly shiny with strong rifling. Comes in 7.65. All matching and original. The slide "hold" lever is not strong enough to hold the slide back without keeping your thumb in place to hold it open. This seems to be a weak spring issue.
