SOLD - Rare, Minty 1940 Krieghoff Luger & Holster
6/13/18 - This is a desirable wartime Krieghoff, made in 1940. In this year, only about 1,000 were made, making this a very rare luger variation. They all went to the Luftwaffe, and the original finish on this one is about 98+%. You may notice that the sideplate has a slightly darker finish on it. This is CORRECT for the wartime Krieghoff's. Also, most of the straw color on the small parts is present. 1940 was the first year they used the black bakelite grips. All numbered parts are matching, including the barrel, receiver, frame, sideplate, all levers, trigger, toggle pin and all the way down to the firing pin. All correct HK parts. The magazine is also in the same serial range but numbered to a different gun. The bore is excellent and shiny. The gun comes with a correct and original Krieghoff holster; black leather with black stitching. The holster was issued to a 1936 Krieghoff (most likely) so can be purchased with or without the gun. The list price includes the holster but the gun can be purchased for $10,500 without the holster.
