3/5/19 - This is an extremely rare Nazi Mauser P.38 from the end of the war. Documented on page 38 of Buxton's Volume II, this is a type 3B pistol with thin, lightly blued slide. The pistol is mentioned, with photos, and a photo is included in the listing with Buxton's description. There were only 15,000 Nazi issued 'svw 45' pistols produced, but likely only a fraction of that number features the blued slide present on this one. The gun is all matching and original with a very nice profile view, but some thinning of the grip frame. Minty bore - hardly looks used. Excellent grips and proper mechanics.
