10/18/17 - This is a very rare Mauser P.38, produced in 1944, in that it is an all-phosphate gun, including the barrel! The serial places this pistol in a large block of dual-tone P.38's, which would usually have a blued barrel assembly. These pistols have been very hard to locate, and this is the first I can remember Legacy having for offer in years. The finish is maybe 95%, with only minor edge wear, but a few spots of discoloration on the slide. It is a 'U' marked magazine, where even the base plate is phosphated! The grips are in very good condition, though there is a scratch on the right panel. Mirror bore.
