5/18/17 - This is an extremely rare and hard to find K Date Navy Luger, one of only 300 manufactured by Mauser, with far fewer known to have survived the war! These are highly sought after Lugers(one recently sold for $18,000 at Rock Island) and due to the value - sometimes faked as well. I can guarantee the Navy Markings on this one and will provide a lifetime guarantee with the sale. The Navy eagle is on the left side of the frame and is only a couple hundred numbers from the one photoed in Jan Stills book. The front strap is O Navy Property marked for the Ostsee Navy Base. The bluing rates somewhere from 70-80%, but hard to give a very accurate estimate. The sideplate shows the most finish loss, and the grip straps show patina throughout. The grips are numbered to the gun but the left grip is chipped under the safety lever. The magazine is an original and correct Navy magazine, but does not match this pistol. The bore is corroded through, though not very deep - I'd rate it a 3 or 4 out of 10.
