7/26/18 - This is a rare 1906/34 Portuguese Mauser Banner luger. The original finish rates at about 96% with some finish loss on the muzzle and sideplate. It is all matching, including the magazine. Crown/U proofed. Lower safety position is marked "Seguranca" and extractor is marked "Carregada". There were only ~500 of this variation produced for the Portuguese contract. This gun is only a few digits off from the one that James Julia sold, and is mentioned on pg. 632 of The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols by Gortz & Sturgess. Excellent bore. Still visible straw on the small parts.
