6/23/21 - This is a near-mint example of a rare dual-tone Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper police "Eagle F" proof. Only 1,500 of these pistols were produced! According to Jan Still, they fall between 4346-5501. It is in gorgeous condition. These dual-tone guns are a little hard to rate given the nature of the phosphate, but we estimate this one has retained more than 98%. It just has a hint of wear on the front strap. Some spotty discoloration on the phosphate parts which is typical. Comes with excellent grips and a rare "U" marked phosphate magazine. Mint bore. Functional de-cocker.
