2/7/20 - This is a rare commercial Mauser Banner Luger from 1941 in exceptional condition. There were only a couple thousand of this variation produced, which is referred to as 'variation 10' in Still's book on Third Reich Lugers, and was the last variant produced. The original bluing rates at 98-99% with just a hint of edge wear, and small scratch on the front strap. Fantastic, unmarked grips. The magazine is numbered to the gun but don't believe it was done at the factory. The only detractor here is that the bore wasn't as well cared for, and there is some frost and minor freckling throughout.
