11/15/18 - This is a rare and beautiful, fully automatic British Sten MK V that was manufactured in 1944. The Sten was a favorite of the British Paratroopers and was used on D-Day and at Operation Market Garden. This is a broad arrow proofed Sten with matching bolt and receiver, and includes three total magazines (32 rd) and an original oiler. The left side of the receiver has the broad arrow mark over a '4 G2 C. Detachable wooden buttstock with brass buttplate. The Mk V was an improved and more elaborate version of the Sten Mk 2, and changes included the wooden pistol grip, wooden stock and bayonet mount. They also have a No4 Lee-Enfield foresight and this rifle includes No4 MkII marked bayonet. This is the Mk V variant with swivel stock but not the rear sight mirror. Excellent bore and mechanics, as the rifle has already been test-fired with no issues. Fully transferrable.
