9/18/19 - This is a terrifc example of an early DWM Luger rig from 1910. It has both original, matching magazines and Becker & Co. holster. This pistol exhibits several features that are unique to early DWM Lugers, such as the magazines being numbered vertically. This example was also retrofitted for the hold-open at the Erfurt factory by a 1913 directive, and bears a small inspection stamp where the work was done. There were only 20,000 DWM Lugers produced that year, and this is one of the ~20% that were unit marked, with the front strap reading '12.H.4.22'. This pistol is all matching with about 96-97% blue remaining, with standard holster wear on the high edges and a spot of finish loss on the bottom of the front strap. The original straw rates at about 60%. Both matching magazines are present, and the grips are matching, as well. Bore has some frost throughout but is in good shape and has no corrosion. The holster is dated 1910 and is Berlin marked and in great shape, with only minor cracking on the top flap. This is a rare find that we almost never come across, especially in this condition.
