2/28/18 - This is a scarce Verchromt Walther PPK in excellent original condition that retains over 97% of its original finish. Very few PPKs were finished in “verchromt”, which was Walther’s experiment in producing a variation of the plated finish - essentially a type of electrolysis plating that gave the gun a dull gray appearance. Unfortunately, it proved to be less durable than the standard blue finish and very few such guns were made in the early 30s. This gun is one of the best Verchromt finished pistols that we have come across and is all matching, including two original Verchromt magazines! The original holster is almost new and is stamped “PPK” inside the lid. Excellent bore and grips without defects.
