7/12/18 - The is an Irwin-Pedersen M1 Carbine - by far teh rarest maker from the World War II era. Most were put together with early parts from other contractors, and this is such a variant. It is a correct, type 1 S'G' carbine with I-P receiver. Made in 1943, it has a B-IP marked rear site. Barrel is 1943 dated and Underwood marked. Safety is IP marked. The stock is S'G' marked with high wood cut, and is RSG marked in the sling cut. It appears to have been lightly sanded at some point. The buttplate is S'G' marked. Magazine is A1 marked and front sling swivel is marked UP. Comes with original sling, in original configuration. Excellent bore.
