1/31/17 - I've been collecting Lugers for over 30 years and this is the FIRST Pacific Arms Luger that has ever passed through my hands. Model 1920 Commercial Luger. Sent to retailer Pacific Arms, of San Francisco in the 1920's. Similar to the A.F. Stoeger retailer, but much rarer. Comes with all original finish in about 96-98%. Excellent straw. Original grips with P.A. medallion. Bore shows wear and frosting. The gun is well preserved with no rust or significant pitting, however there are a few blemishes on the metal that can be seen in the photos. The gun is all matching however, as with all of the commercial variations, many of the small parts are not numbered. All numbered parts, match. Correct blank bottom wooden magazine. Crown N inspection proofs on the barrel and frame. Comes in 30 caliber. Most of the Pacific Arms Lugers I have seen photoed are artillery style Lugers. This one is rarer - with a 4 inch barrel. It is GERMANY marked on the frame - as it should be for export to the US in the 1920's.
