5/30/18 - This is a rare opportunity to own a sidearm that belonged to highly decorated Major General Richard Ciccorella. Born in 1918, General Ciccorella was a combat veteran for WWII, fighting in North Africa and in the European theater. Promoted to a Brigadier General in 1963, he was issued a Colt M1903 pistol, together with the belt, holster and a spare mag pouch. Multiple medals and decorations, a degree from Harvard Business School, a professorship at Georgetown University, and a major military position in post war Taiwan, Major General Ciccorella’s bio reads like what most of us can only aspire to be.  The M1903 Colt .32 cal pistol is documented both in Brunner’s book and in Rock Island arsenal museum records. It retains around 97-98% of its original parkerized finish, with great bore and grips and just minimal edge wear. It is complete with the General officer belt, holster and the double mag pouch and all the documents providing the historical context and the provenance of this historic firearm.
