12/22/20 - This is a rare commercial Mauser Banner Luger from 1939. There were only about 15,000 commercial Mauser Lugers ever produced, and only a couple thousand with 1939 date. The pistol is all matching and original, including the numbered grips. Magazine is period original but mismatched. The pistol is in the correct serial range for this variation. The blue rates at maybe 80% with thinning/patina in all areas. The small parts are "strawed" in color but much of it is tarnished to a brown patina color. Not the best looking luger we sell, but it is rare, and real. In excellent condition this is a $3500 - $4000 gun ! Terrific bore. Grips show obvious age but no cracks or chips.
