2/19/20 - This is a super rare, first year production of the Colt Python with 2.5 inch barrel. From Gurney Brown's book on the Colt Python, about 1000 Pythons were produced with this barrel length, beginning in 1963. This example dates to 1963 and is in excellent, original condition. There is minor muzzle wear on both sides, as well as a standard roll mark on cylinder, small spot of wear on trigger guard and another on front edge of grip frame. Mint bore and excellent grips. Smooth timing/action. Comes with Colt factory letter.
