7/18/17 - This is a full rig Baby Nambu in 98% condition. Not only is it one of the nicest we've ever listed, it is the first that includes BOTH factory original numbered magazines as well as the original holster and cleaning rod. I've sold the holsters in the past for about 2500 and I'm told the original cleaning rod is worth about 1k. This baby is from the Tokyo Arsenal where only about 6500 were ever produced. This one is in about the middle of the range and most likely made around 1925. These guns were only issued to officers, and few survived the Pacific war. This rig would rank up there with the Party Leader PPK rig in terms of desirability and I would guess finding a rig like this will be increasingly rare. It is already rarer that the Party Leader. To summarize this rig would be a GREAT investment for the high end collector. The original bluing is excellent with only a little oxidation on the straps, which is pretty typical. In fact, most have lots of pinpricking due to the salt air encountered by overseas missions. All matching serial numbers as well as an excellent baby holster. Mirror bore.
