2/17/21 - This is a very nice example of a rare "480" Code Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. This one is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, even on the small parts. This particular gun comes with an original chain lanyard. It has retained about 94% of its original bluing. There are areas of wear around the muzzle, on the high edges, some spotty wear on the right side of the slide, and some light spotty wear on the front strap. Comes with excellent original matching grips and a matching magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
