10/11/19 - This is an extremely rare Zero Prefix Serial number, Walther P.38 from 1945. Only 1,750 of these were produced according to Whittington's book. This particular pistol is especially desirable because all three acceptance proofs are present on the slide, while the majority of these pistols were not finished in time to receive full military acceptance (only had one proof). The finish on this late war pistol is excellent, with nearly all finish loss on the left side of the barrel. All parts are matching and correct. This late-war pistol has matching slide, frame, barrel and locking block. Unmarked magazine. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but does have some minor pitting.
