10/31/17 - This is an interesting and potentially rare 1939 Mauser Luger in that the acceptance proofs on the receiver are mixed - Eagle/655 and Eagle/63. This likely means it was a transitional luger that was made late in '39 in the leadup to the switch to Eagle/655 acceptance proofs. The pistol is all original and matching, with unmarked grips and a magazine that is numbered to a different pistol. The bluing rates at about 95% with rub wear on the muzzle, sideplate and bottom of front strap. Mint bore.
