7/1/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. The gun is all matching, has the Mauser banner logo on the toggle, has an added police sear safety, and a proper police "Eagle C" marking on the right side of the slide. This gun is rare as only about 2,850 of this variation were ever produced. It has retained about 95% of its finish. There is spotty wear and brown patina on the straps. Minor wear on the side rails, on the left side of the barrel, and around the muzzle. Minor thinning on the chamber. Comes with very nice mismatched waffen-proofed grips and a blank-bottom magazine. The rifling in the bore is pretty worn with minor pitting throughout.
