10/9/20 - This is an excellent example of a rare DWM 1908 Navy Luger. The Model 1908 is characterized by having no grip safety. This gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown M" Navy proofs on the left side of the slide. No date on the chamber. It comes with a period-correct, mismatched, Navy magazine. This particular example has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There are very minor areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on some of the high edges, underside of the trigger guard, and at the base of both straps. There are a couple of very small areas of oxidation on the barrel. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. Excellent period-correct grips.
