10/28/21 - This is a gorgeous example of a rare Ballester-Molina 1911 in .22LR that was designed and used for training purposes. The gun is in near-mint condition aside from a patch of bluing loss on the underside of the slide where it rubs against the inside of the frame. Only ~1200 were ever produced in .22LR, made in the late 1940s or turn of the '50s. This one has a minty bore and excellent grips. Fit and finish appear excellent, would make a fun shooter as well! No import marks, C&R eligible.
