10/7/20 - This is a super rare Spreewerk P.38 from the end of the war with FN slide. There were only about 600 of this variation produced with large 'ac 44' proof on slide and zero series numbering. The frame is otherwise unmarked, while the barrel is 'cyq' marked and the slide has the large 'M', 'U', and E/140 proof. All matching numbers and original parts. The bluing is excellent with some thinning on the slide but we do believe that the gun was either reblued or dipped and then later cleaned up, which is pretty common for these end of war guns. Mint bore and excellent red grips. Good mechanics, including de-cocker. Import mark under the tang.
