10/14/21 - This is a very nice example of a rare Nazi Mauser Luger variation that was military issued and accepted but diverted to the police. There are only about 3,000 such examples ever made, and this one is 1939 dated with S/42 code on toggle. It features a police sear safety and is in the proper serial range for known examples. The pistol is all matching, including the original grips. The magazine is a scarce unnumbered example with 'fxo 37' code. The original blue rates at about 95% with minor edge wear in all the common areas. Strong, shiny bore. Comes with a 1939 dated holster which has a waffenamt and maker mark, and also has the name of the vet who captured it written inside. It says 'Ems. Glen M. Young U.S.N.' on the inside of the top flap.
