12/29/20 - This is a rare, original Colt Service Model ACE that went to the U.S. military in 1945. There were only 10,000 of these produced for the war, and they were chambered for .22LR and used as training examples. The gun is United States Property marked on the right side of the frame, with G.H.D. inspector mark and crossed cannons cartouche as well. The parkerized finish is generally in great shape, especially the profile view, but the majority of the wear is on the front strap and trigger guard. Excellent grips with no defects. Minty bore. Original magazine.
