9/4/20 - This is a Quality Hardware M1 Carbine, manufactured in 1944. About 360,000 of these guns were made, making up about 6% of the total production during WW2. A full parts and markings list is included below. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. It was at least partially reworked for the Korean War, as evidenced by the bayonet lug. We believe the bolt was replaced for Korea. The stock is in excellent condition, but it is unmarked. The hand guard is a little loose. The bore is excellent - shiny with very strong rifling. Comes with one magazine that has some minor pitting on the front edge.
